Kitchen Circuits
Can’t recommend these guys enough. They installed three new circuits for high wattage appliances in the kitchen. Work completed to a fantastic standard and to the exact specs requested. We requested the work at very short notice and they were able to accommodate us. Communication before and during the job was excellent and they arrived exactly when agreed for both the initial quote and the job itself. Treated every aspect of the work and our home with respect and left everything in great condition. Really friendly guys and will be my first call for all future electrical work.

Frequently Asked Questions About Kitchen Rewires
How much does a kitchen rewire cost in Leeds?
The cost of a kitchen rewire depends on the size of your kitchen, the number of appliances, lighting, sockets and whether any new circuits or consumer unit upgrades are required. After visiting your property, we’ll provide a detailed fixed quotation outlining exactly what’s included, so there are no hidden surprises.
Do I need a new consumer unit for my kitchen renovation?
Not always. If your existing consumer unit has sufficient capacity and meets current safety standards, it may not need replacing. However, where additional circuits are required, we may recommend installing a dedicated consumer unit for the new kitchen. This can provide a practical solution while allowing modern protective devices, such as Surge Protection Devices (SPDs), to help protect your valuable kitchen appliances and electronics. We’ll assess your existing installation during our survey and explain the most suitable option for your home.
Can you rewire just a kitchen?
Yes. In many cases, it is possible to rewire just the kitchen without rewiring the entire property. This is common during kitchen renovations where new appliances, additional sockets, modern lighting or a kitchen island are being installed. We’ll assess your existing electrical installation to ensure it is suitable and advise if any additional work is recommended to meet current wiring regulations.
Will my new kitchen appliances be protected from electrical surges?
Modern kitchens often contain expensive appliances and electronic controls that can be vulnerable to electrical surges. A Surge Protection Device (SPD) installed within the consumer unit can help reduce the risk of damage caused by transient overvoltages.
As part of our quotation, we’ll assess your existing electrical installation and explain whether surge protection is already fitted or whether adding an SPD is recommended to help protect your investment.
Kitchen Rewires are normally completed in two stages
First Fix: We install all the hidden wiring, back boxes and new electrical circuits before plastering and before the kitchen units are fitted.
Second Fix: Once the kitchen has been installed, we return to fit sockets, switches, lighting, appliances and any electrical accessories. We then thoroughly test the installation and provide an NICEIC Electrical Installation Certificate.
