An Electrical Installation Condition Report should not simply be treated as paperwork. It involves inspection and testing of the fixed electrical installation to assess its condition and identify defects, deterioration or other issues requiring attention.

Remedial Work Is Quoted Separately
Your EICR report is issued following completion of the inspection and testing. Any remedial work identified is separate and does not need to be completed before you receive the report.
If an EICR identifies work requiring attention, we won't simply add remedial work to your bill.
We'll explain the findings and, where requested, provide a clear quotation for the work required before any additional work is undertaken.

If remedial work is identified, BRO Electrical can explain what's involved and provide a separate, itemised quotation for you to consider — this might be something straightforward like a consumer unit upgrade, or something more involved.
